Knobbly Knuckly & The Treehouse

10.00

It’s a normal spring day in Knockton Gardens
but something is spreading on Griselda the grapevine
A new treehouse is about to be built
…and Knobbly Knuckly isn’t happy about it at all!

Following on from The Perfect and Proud Knobbly Knuckly Tree, this is a book that explores the character’s reaction to a major change within the park. When Knobbly Knuckly feels jealous, he reacts by spreading rumours about Asher, which causes Asher to react in a similar way. Eventually Omar the oak tree decides to call a meeting of the trees to sort out the problem.

The book teaches children about the importance of expressing our emotions and examining our reactions to both change and other people. It teaches them that conflict and misunderstanding can be resolved through dialogue and honest communication, and that sometimes our best friends can turn out to be the people we thought we didn’t even like!
